My brother has a disability called : Apraxia of speech: A severe speech disorder characterized by inability to speak, or a severe struggle to speak clearly. Apraxia of speech occurs when the oral- motor muscles do not or cannot obey commands from the brain, or when the brain cannot reliably send those commands.

Most people wont realize somethings wrong with him until they talk to him.The first thing they do is judge and give him pity, and it angers me. Thats not what you do. He's a human like everyone else. They baby him like he can't do anything; but he can and hes good at things too. He'll never learn if someones always there to hold his hand.

Most people think i might be a bad sister because im really hard on him. but i have my reasons. What happens when my parents are gone and i am too.. whos supposed to be there ? I love my brother and i would take someones life for him... but he needs tuff love and it'll help him in the future, all people are really doing is making it extremly hard for him when he gets older.

He's claims he hates me at times but i ignore it. I've always been there for him and i've probably showed him how to do more things then my parrents have.. smh. Sometimes i think they dont have the patients to show him things thats why they baby him.. but things like that takes time.

Honestly i think if he was "normal" ( whatever that is) i wouldnt like it.. God made him the way he is for a reason and i've learned to except it for what it is and cope with it. I love him and thank god for giving me a brother like him ... i wouldnt trade that dork in for anything lol.
